School RingsTake some online courses and help advance your career!Obtaining school rings are a milestone in the life of students. School rings that are personalized not only serve as symbols of achievement, but they also signify cherished experiences and beloved memories. School rings should be customized so they will forever be cherished and worn. School rings are made from white gold, yellow gold or silver. Traditional school rings are known for their large center stones. Students choose the color or gem of their choice. Some students choose a stone that is their birth color, while others will choose a stone that matches their school's colors. School rings will have the name of the student's school around the stone. The two side shanks of school rings are where the students have the option of being very creative. These side shanks can hold any kind of graphic that the student chooses. Many students choose to have one side list the graduation year. However, students can have any symbol placed on their class rings. Some choose a symbol which depicts their love for a field of study, favorite sport or activity or other area of interest. For instance, students who are into the study of medicine may choose to have medical emblems placed on their school rings. Students who are into music can have a musical note or a graphic of an instrument on their school rings. School rings should tell something about the wearers. They can be very simply in design or very complex. How much money an individual spends on their school ring will be a direct result of how intricate he or she wants the ring to be. While it is true that students have the option of purchasing ordinary school rings, many choose to personalize their rings and make them extra special. A student's life will generally revolve around his or her school and school activities. School rings are the crowning achievement of a job well done. School rings symbolize the closing of one door and the opening of another door. Being a senior means that you are given special privileges. Parents and teachers no longer look at seniors as children or teenagers, but as young adults who are about to enter into full adulthood. These special privileges set seniors apart from their younger siblings and classmates. Choosing a class ring is one such privilege. Going through the process of choosing school rings is right of passage for seniors. It becomes a tangible symbol of school life, friends and growing up. When a person looks at their school ring they should be filled with a sense of nostalgia and pride.; It is important to know that school rings are not just for public or private school seniors, be it high school or college. School rings are also purchased and worn by homeschoolers, people who graduate from specialized schools or by people who graduate from fire or police academies. School rings are even being purchased by certain large corporations and given to employees as a symbol of solidity and unity. |
